The Impact of Volunteering

Volunteering is donating your time and heart to those needing it. There are many ways to help, from adoption events to promotional advertising. Any and all help is appreciated as we strive for a better tomorrow for our rescue. Everyone a part of this rescue volunteers their time and efforts to help find forever homes and give a second chance for a better fur-life.

Ways to Volunteer

There are many ways to volunteer in the community. As we are a 501c3 non for profit, we rely on the help of the community to strive towards our goal. You can volunteer time by coming to events or you can volunteer by raising funds. Any and all help in between brings us closer to a better tomorrow!

Event Hosting

Events are one way to connect with our community. It also helps promote the animals.

All hands are needed at events to help the animals feel safe and relaxed while in a new environment, searching for forever homes.

Majority of events are at PetSmart, but we do host events wherever we are invited!

Transportation

Sometimes getting a foster to a forever home, or getting to an event is needed when a foster is unable to make it.

Transportation can be to Spay/Neuter Appointment, Vet Appointment, Adoption Home, or to local events!

Since the rescue is volunteered based, we rely on each other to do all we can for the animals!

Fundraising

As we are a non-for-profit, we must bring in our own funding.  We are always in need of spreading the word and helping with needed funds.

Funds go toward spay/neuter of assistance applicants as well as foster pets. Funds also help towards other medical needs.

In the last year, there were 3 heartworm positive pups that went through $1,000+ treatments each.

Fostering

As a non-for-profit, all adoptable pets are in foster homes. By fostering, you help make room for another helpless animal needing rescue. Supplies and medical are supplied by the rescue.

Photography

Do you ever see that “Kodak Moment”? While we are walking or talking to potential adopters, we sometimes don’t have the hands to snap a photo.

Photography is the best way to get the animal’s personality out there. It is vital to have emotion expressed in the photo.

Promoter

Not all of us can get out there physically or be able to help financially either. That’s okay! You can always help by SPREADING THE WORD!!!

The more people know about us,  our cause, or fosters, the more likely we will find that forever home!
